Among one of the largest contracting vehicles out there, the GSA’s MAS [Multiple Award Schedule] is meant for those already-established government contracting firms looking to take their contract efforts to the next level. With pre-negotiated pricing and terms, this contract vehicle allows federal agencies [and many SLED agencies] to contract with vendors via a streamlined process. Instead of participating in the federal competitive bid market, vendors are put in a smaller pool of companies that have already been vetted by the government, allowing agencies to streamline their purchasing needs.
